Lao - Sparkling Tea Mucha Tie Guan Yin

Mucha Tie Guan Yin, a Taiwanese roasted oolong, draws its essence from an ancient legend; A pious peasant named Wei Yin received a visit from the goddess Guan Yin in a dream, showing him a cave where there was a treasure: a tea tree with leaves as heavy as iron, thus giving birth to Tie Guan Yin, the “iron goddess of mercy”, a source of regional pride. Carefully cultivated by Mr. Gao, using methods passed down from generation to generation since 1875, this tea demonstrates the passionate commitment to tea culture.

The leaves undergo intensive cooking over several days, which gives them unique roasted notes. It is a very special delicacy, with extraordinary flavors, which continues to delight the inhabitants of the region, thus perpetuating the legacy of Mucha Tie Guan Yin.
